Defect analysis

If there are cavities or other inhomogeneities inside an object, the ultrasonic waves are reflected or scattered. The resulting variations of the sonic waves are used to detect a defect inside the material. Furthermore one is able to see where this defect is located and how it shaped. Using preset parameters regarding amount, size or location of the defect. The test objects can be classified as IO or NIO.
